WORK COVERAGE

Quality at Every Layer. From UI to API, data to security — how I test, what I validate, and where I look for risk.

Quality Approach
Page Object Model & reusable test design — selectors and reusable flows live in one place, reducing duplication across specs.
Tiered tagging (@smoke, @regression, @security, @api, and more) so any subset can run on demand, not just the whole suite.
Root-cause-driven investigation — every failure gets a why, not just a red X.
Evidence-first reporting — screenshots (pass and fail), console logs, network logs, and traces attached to every run.
Excel and HTML reports generated on every run. PDF export is on the roadmap, not yet built — I'd rather flag that gap than fake it.
Requirement-gap analysis before automation — reviewing existing coverage for blind spots, not just adding more tests on top.

Smoke

Fast, shallow checks right after every deploy — confirms the critical paths didn't break before anything deeper runs.

Functional

Every user-facing feature and workflow verified against its expected behavior — the baseline every other tier builds on.

Bug Retesting

Every reported defect re-verified against the fix — confirming it's actually resolved and didn't reopen or shift elsewhere.

Regression

Full functional, integration, and backward-compatibility passes — catching what a new change quietly broke elsewhere.

End-to-End

Full real user flows start to finish, across real multi-account scenarios, not isolated component checks.

API

REST endpoint validation and console/network inspection — catching malformed responses and silent failures the UI never surfaces.

Cross-Browser

The same suite run against Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit — a bug that only shows up in one engine still counts.

Responsive / Mobile

Mobile layouts, touch targets, responsive behavior, viewport-specific workflows, and device-oriented interaction checks.

Performance

Per-page load and interaction timing observed during real runs, flagging pages that lag — timing signals caught as part of the same suite, not a dedicated load-testing practice.

Security

Header and cookie checks, CSRF-token presence, secrets-in-storage checks, suspicious payload inspection, and browser/network security signals.

UAT

Scenarios written from the user's perspective and validated before a release ships, not just after.
